Back Again (Yes, Again)
In February I wrote a whole “Hello Again, World” post about coming back after five years of silence. Then I wrote a burst of posts through early March and… disappeared again for eight months.
So yes. This is the comeback to the comeback. I am aware of the bit. You are allowed to laugh.
I’m not going to invent a dramatic reason for the gap. Life got loud. Family stuff. Wrestling season. Building things that ate the evenings I used to spend finishing arguments in Markdown. The short version is I kept having takes on X and kept not expanding them here. That part was on me.
What’s changing
I’m going to write here every week.
One longer post, Sundays. Same voice as @djworth on X — first person, concrete, a little sharp — just with room to finish the thought instead of stopping at the character limit. X is where ideas start. This site is where they get a full pass.
The site itself got a redesign to match the X profile. Dark/light, avatar, bio, the three topics up front. Less “generic Hugo theme,” more “this is actually my place.”
What I write about
Three things, same as the bio:
AI automation. Agents that do real work with a human still in control. Build notes. The boring-but-important parts — workflows, approvals, data under the agent — not the demo reel.
Wrestling. Freestyle, college, Pennsylvania wrestling culture. Scoreboards, gas tanks, how to watch a dual without getting lost. Not gossip. Not naming kids.
Philly sports. Mostly the Eagles. Sometimes with hope. Sometimes with the clear-eyed version.
That’s the Venn diagram. If you’re here for one of them, stick around. If you’re here for all three, we should probably be friends.
What’s coming
Sunday (Nov 9): Bo Bassett’s 65kg world title, and why conditioning still wins freestyle matches when the scoreboard looks hopeless.
Then an AI piece on letting agents pick the play — not rewrite the playbook.
Then an Eagles piece on watching the rest of this season as evaluation, not coping.
Then a field guide to watching college wrestling in November without getting lost.
I’ll keep the X account moving in parallel. When a longer post goes up here, I’ll usually drop a same-day thread with the link.
How to follow along
Follow @djworth on X, or subscribe via RSS if you still believe in feeds (I do). Or both.
No five-year promises this time. Just a weekly one. See you Sunday.
